Julia Davis is an American Screenwriter whose extraordinary life matches, if not exceeds, the exploits of her fascinating film characters.
Born in Kiev, Ukraine, Julia's free spirit and strong will set her apart from the crowd. Great student and an independent thinker from an early age, Julia refused to join the Komsomol and listened to the Voice of America on the radio - both of those activities leading to the persecution against the entire family. They were saved only by the collapse of the Soviet Union and the subsequent Act of Declaration of Independence of the Ukraine that established it as an independent, democratic state.
Since then, Julia married a famous Producer, Director, Stunt Coordinator BJ Davis (who worked on over 400 films and holds two standing world records), immigrated to the United States, established herself in the film industry, served as a stunt double to Angelina Jolie, authored a screenplay for an Award-winning feature film and has written other produced works for film and television, with numerous titles in development.
Julia Davis worked for the Department of Homeland Security, exposed a breach of national security, was falsely called a "Domestic Terrorist", had her home raided with a Blackhawk helicopter and a Special Response Team, was twice falsely imprisoned and maliciously prosecuted (with a subsequent finding of factual innocence and dismissal of all charges). Department of Homeland Security unsuccessfully attempted to denaturalize and deport Julia, who is an American citizen. Julia Davis and her family have been subjected to years of warrantless surveillance, sneak and peak intrusions, vehicle tracking, traffic stops without probable cause, warrantless searches and seizures and a multitude of other violations. The Department of Homeland Security secretly paid alleged witnesses for providing false testimony against Julia Davis and BJ Davis, while also admittedly encouraging third party civilians to file lawsuits against the couple in retaliation for Julia's protected disclosures.
Julia Davis and BJ Davis were instrumental in bringing down a mobster who is currently serving 10 years in federal prison for his multi-million dollar crimes that impacted over twenty-four thousand victims. Julia and her family have received death threats, had their vehicles blown up, shot at and tampered with.
Julia Davis prevailed in her lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security. It was determined that the agency engaged in illegal conduct and subjected Davis to unnecessary harassment. The Judge also found that Julia Davis involuntarily resigned and that given the nature and depth of Agency’s betrayal of Davis, no reasonable person could have continued working in such an employment environment.
Julia Davis is now a Vice President of Production of Fleur De Lis Film Studios. She is also the CEO of a Los Angeles based translation/interpreting company, Official Russian Translation.
These incredible events have been covered in newspapers, magazines and a book, "Unsafe At Any Altitude". They are soon to be detailed in the upcoming book, entitled "Until It Happens To You". This literary work in progress will help government whistleblowers, provide advice for victims of wrongful termination, malicious prosecution, privacy violations and harassment. "Until It Happens To You" will provide a unique insight into fighting government corruption and dealing with injustices in the legal system.
